The Three Inhabited Islands

1. Batan Island (The Main Island)

• North Batan: Features Naidi Hills, Basco Lighthouse, Vayang Rolling Hills, Tukon Chapel, Dipnaysupuan Japanese Tunnel, and Valugan Boulder Beach.

Inter-Island Logistics & Boat Crossings

Batan to Sabtang

• Departure Port: Radiwan Port, Ivana (25 to 30 minutes south of Basco by van or tricycle).

Visitors to Batanes destinations must complete official registration and pay required provincial and local environmental fees:

1. Batanes Provincial Tourism Fee: ₱405 per person (includes ₱200 ecotourism fee + ₱205 Visitor ID fee). Online pre-registration required prior to arrival at Basco Airport.
2. Sabtang Municipal Environmental Fee: ₱200 per person, paid upon arrival at Sabtang Port.
3. Protected Area & Heritage Fees: Minimal site fees (₱20 to ₱50) apply at select heritage locations and community centers.
